Justice Minister: Hijab Bill Approved by Cabinet

The Minister of Justice announced that the Hijab Bill has been approved by the Cabinet.

The Minister of Justice stated that the Modesty and Hijab Bill will be sent to the Parliament in the coming days.

Amin Hossein Rahimi, the Minister of Justice, in the second part of today’s session of the Supreme Judicial Council, referred to the process undertaken for the Judiciary’s proposed bill on the subject of modesty and hijab, and said that the Judiciary’s urgent proposed bill on supporting the culture of modesty and hijab, after undergoing modifications by the government, was approved by the Cabinet last Wednesday and was signed yesterday, Sunday, May 21, and will be sent to the Parliament in the coming days.
