Kaja Kallas: The wars in Iran and Ukraine are very much interconnected.
Kaja Kallas, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, said on Thursday on the sidelines of the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting in France that we see Russia helping Iran by providing information to target and kill Americans. Russia also supports Iran with drones to attack neighboring countries and American military bases.
She added that these wars are intensely interconnected, so if the United States wants the war in the Middle East to stop and for Iran to halt its attacks, it must increase pressure on Russia so that it cannot assist Iran in this regard.
