Kalantari, Former Head of Iran's Environment, Says We Destroyed It in These 40 Years

Kalantari, the former head of Iran’s Department of Environment, said we have destroyed it in these 40 years.

Isa Kalantari, the former head of the Department of Environment, warned about the critical state of water resources in the country and said the Islamic Republic has committed water suicide. We have devastated Iran in these 40 years and caused subsidence that is now irreparable.

He added that if the current trend continues, the city of Isfahan might completely sink into the ground within the next 50 to 100 years.
