Kamfiroozi Transferred to Fashafouyeh Prison

Kamfirouzi was transferred to Fashafouyeh prison

Mohammad Hossein Ajorlou, the husband of Niloufar Hamedi, an arrested journalist from Shargh, wrote that Mohammad Ali Kamfirouzi, a lawyer who represented several journalists and protesters, has been transferred to Fashafouyeh prison.

He was arrested in December after visiting Evin’s prosecutor’s office to follow up on cases under his representation.

His lawyer, Mohammad Ali Bagherpour, told the news and analysis outlet Emtedad that prior to his arrest, no summons or notice had been issued for his appearance at the prosecutor’s office.
