Kayhan: The Government Should Abandon Negotiations
The Kayhan newspaper wrote that the capabilities of the Iranian government and the regional and global conditions have provided a good opportunity for the thirteenth government to correct the deviation created in the nuclear negotiations, a correction that could thwart the American strategy since 2009, which is the policy of pressure and bargaining.
The path taken over these years has proven that negotiating for the lifting of sanctions does not reduce the sanctions, but rather expands the scope of negotiations.
Lifting sanctions through negotiation is a bait that American foreign policy officials have placed on the hook, and the thirteenth government, with its high aspirations and popular support, can abandon this bait and, like its commendable performance over the past year, focus all its efforts and capabilities on neutralizing the sanctions.
