Kayhan Newspaper's Anger at Khatami: Leader of the Uprising Against People's Vote Claims to Support Republic

Anger of Kayhan Newspaper at Khatami, Leader of the Uprising Against People’s Vote, Claims Republicanism

Khatami’s talk about respecting republicanism is completely contrary to his own approach and that of some extremists claiming reform. In the 2009 elections, they not only acted against Islamism but also organized an uprising against republicanism and the respected vote of the majority of the people, which was step by step dictated by the intelligence services of the USA, UK, and Israel.

Regrettably, the main pretext for organizing the uprising by Khatami, Mousavi, and parties like Participation and Executives of Construction was the claim of election fraud, while Tajzadeh admitted that it is impossible to manipulate and change 11 million votes. Khatami only admitted in private and among close circles that he did not believe the election was fraudulent, but in the streets and political sphere, alongside Mousavi, he managed the rebellion against republicanism to cancel the elections and undermine the vote of the 24 million majority.
