Kayhan Newspaper's Attack on Popular Public Figure: After 7 Months, You Remember to Say Outdated Words

The government-affiliated Kayhan newspaper wrote: Adel Ferdosipour, in an online program, had a conversation with Alireza Jahanbakhsh, which was more political or rather politicized than it was about sports and football. At the beginning of this program, Ferdosipour said that after seven months, he has started producing programs again because during this time he was mourning the events of last autumn.

This is while, contrary to this claim, he has been busy producing the Football 120 program for the IRIB during all these seven months, just like in recent years.

Moreover, Ferdosipour, after seven months, has just remembered to bring up outdated and stale topics and, with a nervous tone, exaggerated expressions, and unprofessional language like the scripted presenters of foreign media, he asked the most superficial questions possible, such as why did the national football team’s head coach unite the players or why did the players celebrate after scoring a goal.
