Kayhan Praised Saudi Arabia and Attacked Westernizers

Kayhan flattered Saudi Arabia and attacked pro-Westerners

Kayhan said to compare the correct and forward-looking behavior of Saudi Arabia with the rhetoric of some pro-Western politicians in Iran, who immediately after the news of the agreement was published, wrote and said that Iran should promptly go for negotiations with the US about the JCPOA, FATF, and Ukraine, otherwise agreements with others are useless.

Barbara Slavin, an American analyst, says this development disheartens two groups: supporters of regime change in Iran and Israel. Mark Dubowitz, head of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, says this agreement is a serious blow to the US government. Michel Paul, a reporter for Radio France in Israel, says the consensus among Israeli media is that this agreement is bad news and a real slap to the Tel Aviv government. Guillaume Naudin, a Radio France correspondent in America, says Washington is surprised and passive in response to this agreement.
