Kayhan’s attack on the films ‘World War III’ and ‘Fossil’: These films are vulgar and promote immorality.
Kayhan wrote that today the situation has reached a point where not only are some filmmakers pursuing the production of the same pre-revolutionary films, but they have also gone further by pursuing Westernization, Hollywood-style environments, and immorality in Iranian cinema.
This is the same cultural threat and infiltration of Western culture into our Islamic society that the enemies of the Islamic Revolution have designed for us.
Producing vulgar films such as ‘Fossil,’ ‘The Duet of World War III,’ and similar works, which through comedic and humorous subjects using well-known cinema and television personalities who are somewhat accepted by the people as artistic figures, aim for nothing other than spreading vulgarity in the Islamic society.
The production and making of joyful and comedic films are necessary and essential for our society, but not in a way that we fulfill the desires of the enemy with a culture of buffoonery and cultural vulgarity.
The Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, which is the main custodian of the country’s culture and art, must act in a revolutionary and decisive manner.
