Kayhan’s Sarcastic Remark to Revolutionary Government Negotiators: Why Are None of the Main Issues in the Agreement?

Despite the growing speculation that the revival of the JCPOA is being finalized, some principlists are still not fully on board with the agreement. In recent weeks, the most concerns and criticisms about the agreement have been raised in the Kayhan and Vatan-e Emrooz newspapers.

Today, Kayhan also wrote that one of the necessities of a good agreement in the context of reviving the JCPOA is that the guaranteed lifting of sanctions and its verification should occur before Iran allows the U.S. to return to the agreement.

This newspaper, referring to Al Jazeera’s claim, added that the release of 7 billion dollars pertains to a part of our previously violated rights, not related to the present and future of the agreement. On the other hand, it is unclear what the fate of events after 120 days will be according to Europe’s view, and whether we are supposed to return to the starting point of the snakes and ladders game after four months.
