Khaled Nabi Region Dried Up

The Khaled Nabi region has dried up

The velvet and lush hills and the beautiful field of poppies along the Khaled Nabi route attract many tourists to this region every year in April and May. Families would camp there to enjoy the nature of the area, which also boosted local ecotourism. However, these days, there is no sign of the lush wheat fields with full ears of wheat, nor the hustle and bustle of tourists in the area. The hills now resemble barren deserts.

According to one of the local farmers, the rainfall was so scarce this year that the wheat fields did not grow even a centimeter, and they had to use it as animal feed.
