The Judiciary of Razavi Khorasan reported on the fines imposed on some protesters.
According to IRNA news agency, the head of the Razavi Khorasan Judiciary stated that a number of protesters have been sentenced to pay a fine of 170 million tomans.
Gholamali Sadeghi, who referred to these protesters as rioters, accused them of setting fire to a vehicle and the computer network controlling the CCTV cameras in the city of Mashhad during the protests.
During the crackdown on recent protests, officials of the Islamic Republic consistently accused protesters of vandalism and damaging public property.
Meanwhile, many images were published on social media showing government-affiliated forces, including armed special unit police and plainclothes individuals, repeatedly attacking citizens’ homes and vehicles.
