Case of Kian Pirfalak’s Murder: Bahman Bahmani’s Hunger Strike Due to Pressure to Confess to Murder

Following reports about Bahman Bahmani’s critical condition after a hunger strike due to pressure to confess to the murder of Kian Pirfalak, Mahmanir Zeinab Molaei, Kian’s mother, stated that she does not accept Mr. Bahmani as her son’s murderer.

Ms. Molaei wrote, ‘Bahman is my brother. I am Kian’s mother, and I will never accept anyone from my hometown being introduced as the murderer.’

She said, ‘It’s good that two hours after the incident, you captured the terrorists at the Maku border, which is 24 hours away from Izeh.’

She stated, ‘Bahman and Kian are from the same clan, they are brothers. We do not have fratricide.’

Ms. Molaei said, ‘Why do you want to pit the clans against each other? Mojahid Hossein Mahmoud, now Bahman, how many people do you want to introduce? Just a hint at the real culprits wouldn’t go amiss.’

According to the Committee for the Follow-up on the Situation of Detainees, Bahman Bahmani is under pressure in detention by the Intelligence Department to accept responsibility for killing Kian Pirfalak.
