Kian Pirfalak's Mother Teaches a Lesson in Honor and Freedom Online on Teacher's Day

Kian Pirfalak’s mother teaches the lesson of dignity and freedom online on Teacher’s Day.

Mahmonir Molaeirad, Kian Pirfalak’s mother, has shared stories on her Instagram about Teacher’s Day.

After the killing of her child, Mrs. Molaeirad openly criticized the Iranian government and sought justice for her son. She was then dismissed from her position as a teacher.

In a series of stories she shared, Mrs. Mirfalak wrote that perhaps she will no longer be allowed to enter the school, but she teaches the lessons of freedom, dignity, and truth-seeking online.

She also thanked those who congratulated her on Teacher’s Day and stated that they should not congratulate her on this day. The true teachers should be celebrated, not the plunderers of culture and knowledge.

Her husband, Meysam Pirfalak, who was severely injured on the same night when their car was shot at by government forces, also mentioned his wife in an Instagram post as a teacher who stands by dignity and freedom.
