Kish is pursuing tiered internet.

According to a report by IRNA news agency, the CEO of the Kish Free Zone Organization has announced plans to establish tiered internet on the island.

Rahim Sarhangi has stated that negotiations have begun for the controlled implementation of high-speed, unfiltered internet in Kish, and we hope it will yield results soon.

He also mentioned that Kish Island benefits from a unique governance under the laws governing free zones, and this capacity can be used for the country’s development.

Sarhangi also said that the island is ready to welcome major players in the technology sector.
