Scientific growth without converting knowledge into wealth is not enough
Mohammad Reza Aref, the First Vice President, emphasized that the country’s scientific growth should not be limited to merely publishing articles, but rather the chain of converting science into technology, and then into wealth and national security, must be completed.
In a meeting with university professors, elites, and knowledge-based activists in Yazd Province, he announced the government’s support for establishing a free zone for science and technology in this province and stated that Iran has only two years to achieve scientific authority, the top regional position in emerging technologies, and a single-digit ranking in artificial intelligence.
