The Police Commander of Kohgiluyeh Fake Judge Arrested
The Police Commander of Kohgiluyeh stated that an individual who introduced himself to citizens as an on-call judge by forging titles and defrauded them has been arrested.
Colonel Mohammad Mousavi, detailing the news, stated that following a report about the presence of an individual in front of buildings such as the judiciary, Dispute Resolution Council, prosecutor’s office, banks, the governor’s office, and military places with various titles, due to the sensitivity of the matter, the case was placed on the agenda of the Kohgiluyeh County Police Information Gathering Team.
He added that through extensive police investigations and targeted patrols around potential suspect routes, the suspect was identified and, with coordination with the judicial authority, was arrested, and a Peugeot 405 vehicle belonging to him was also seized.
Mousavi clarified that during their investigations and interrogations, officers concluded that this individual, by exploiting his presence in judicial and governmental offices, introduced himself as one of the judges working in the county’s judicial authorities and an influential person in the province, promising people to resolve their cases and defrauding citizens in various ways.
He said that during the inspection of the suspect’s vehicle, officers discovered and seized 1 on-call judge’s stamp, 1 Faraja staff card, a permit for access to military and judicial places, a traffic accident expert’s stamp, 1 central insurance expert’s stamp, a stamp of professors from a neighboring province’s medical university, and several documents stamped with judicial and police authority seals.
