Lack of Information and Concern About the Situation of Hedayatullah Notizhenia

Unawareness and Concern About the Condition of Hedayatollah Noutizehinia

Halvash News Agency, which monitors human rights in the Sistan and Baluchestan province of Iran, reports that the family of Hedayatollah Noutizehinia Mohammadzahi, a resident of Baluchestan, remains unaware of his condition three months after his arrest.

Mr. Noutizehinia was arrested on January 21, 2023, and according to this report, despite 93 days having passed, his family has had no contact or meeting with him and is extremely worried about his well-being.

The report, citing informed sources, states that Hedayatollah was arrested on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at his residence in the village of Minouei, part of the Kourin district, and despite repeated follow-ups by his family, security and judicial authorities have so far refrained from providing a clear response.

He was apparently arrested due to his activities on social media, especially Instagram, in support of the protests.
