Larijani: Use nudity restrictions instead of compulsory hijab

Mohammad Javad Larijani, head of the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences, said that the term ‘compulsory hijab’ is a mischievous label used by the West, which is an enemy of Islam, and also by some self-proclaimed intellectuals inside the country who relentlessly attempt to secularize the Islamic system.

He added, ‘Why don’t they say that the law of nudity restrictions is clear, which always has the backing of enforcement power? The term ‘compulsory’ regarding it is laughable because all laws in every part of the world are compulsory.’
