Latest statistics from the Iran Human Rights Organization: 476 dead, 100 at risk of execution

The Iran Human Rights Organization, based in Oslo, announced in its latest statement that the number of fatalities in the Iranian protests is at least 476.

According to this statement, at least 64 of the deceased were under 18 years old, with 9 of these children being girls.

Accordingly, the fatalities have been reported from 25 different provinces, with the highest number of deaths in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchestan, West Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, Tehran, and Mazandaran, respectively.

The Iran Human Rights Organization also warned that at least 100 detainees from the protests are facing the risk of being sentenced to or having their death sentences carried out.

This organization has called for increasing the political cost of executions for the Islamic Republic and saving the lives of protesting citizens.

According to the Iran Human Rights Organization, the announced figure only pertains to those who died in the streets.
