Mustafa Tajzadeh’s lawyer said my client is undergoing medical treatments and studying inside the prison.
Houshang Pourbabai, regarding the latest status of Mustafa Tajzadeh’s case and whether he will be granted leave for the New Year holidays, said Mr. Tajzadeh is in prison and believes that leave is my right and it is the government’s duty to grant it to the prisoner.
He added that according to the prison organization’s regulations, it is the government’s duty to bring up the matter in the prison organization’s classification council, calculate the benefits that are for a prisoner, and not deprive him of those benefits.
Tajzadeh’s lawyer reminded that Mr. Tajzadeh says it is the government’s duty to implement the law on this matter and I am not submitting a request for leave. Mr. Tajzadeh has not used a single day of earned leave except for medical leave since he was detained in July 2022.
