Lawyers Announce Readiness to Represent Female Students

A group of lawyers from Kermanshah, in a statement, condemned the attacks on schools and female students, describing these attacks as organized crimes against humanity and a continuation of hidden and overt criminal acts against Iranian women. They emphasized their willingness to represent the injured students and their families in order to secure their rights and obtain compensation from the government.

The signatory lawyers of this statement stressed that guaranteeing women’s rights and eliminating unjust discrimination against all children of this land, as well as ensuring the comprehensive security of women and girls in schools and educational centers, are among the main duties of the government towards the nation. They wrote that while strongly condemning such attacks, they consider them as crimes against humanity in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 7 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and other related documents.
