The Leader’s Representative in Qazvin: If We Purify Our Hearts, Rain Will Fall
Hossein Mozaffari, the Leader’s Representative in Qazvin Province, emphasized repentance in the rain prayer sermons held due to drought and the water resource crisis in Iran in the city of Qazvin, saying that if we purify our hearts, rain will fall.
He further added, we have come to say to God, ‘O Lord, we are remorseful.’
The Representative of Khamenei, in his speech, referred to the shortcomings and individual and social behaviors of the people, saying that if we were negligent in our prayers, if we engaged in gossip and slander, if we were careless about the issue of hijab and public modesty, if we were negligent or dishonest in work and trade, we seek forgiveness from You and repent.
Mozaffari concluded by saying that if necessary, this prayer will be repeated at the same time and day in the coming weeks.
