Leaked Documents on Collaborations Against Iran

The Intercept website wrote that highly classified U.S. intelligence reports recently leaked reveal the increasing risk of U.S. conflict with Iran, as well as Israel’s overt efforts to involve the U.S. directly in operations targeting Iranian interests in the Middle East.

Since the U.S. withdrew from the nuclear agreement with Iran during the Trump administration, the U.S. has been on a collision course with the Iranian government over its nuclear energy program and ballistic missiles. The existing documents also reveal other U.S. espionage efforts focused on Iran.

Israel has conducted operations targeting Iranian interests in Syria and has even directly struck Iran over the past year.

With key military decisions being made under both the Trump and Biden administrations, the groundwork for conflict with Iran has been laid in many ways, and it seems more preparations are on the horizon.
