Legal Case Filed Against 3 Media Outlets and 3 Notable Individuals

On Tuesday, the Tehran prosecutor announced that in the ongoing issue of serial poisonings in schools and dormitories, the judiciary has filed charges over the past week against the responsible managers of Ham-Mihan, Rouydad 24, and Shargh media outlets, as well as individuals including Azar Mansouri, Sadegh Zibakalam, and Reza Kianian, and a legal case has been opened in this regard.

This news comes a day after, as criticism against the government over the poisonings in schools and educational centers across the country intensified, the head of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic called for the harshest punishment for those making certain statements on this matter.

However, it has been nearly four months since the original incident of poisonings in mostly girls’ schools, yet officials have not provided any convincing explanations to the concerned families.
