Macron: Russia’s claims about France or Ukraine’s role in the Moscow concert hall attack are ridiculous

The President of France on Thursday called the Russian Defense Minister’s claims that Ukraine and France could have been involved in last month’s deadly attack on the Moscow concert hall ridiculous and foolish.

Emmanuel Macron’s remarks came a day after a rare phone call between the French and Russian defense ministers, which led to contradictory media statements afterward.

Macron’s comments are actually a response to a statement released by the Russian Defense Ministry, in which it was mentioned that Sergei Shoigu, in a phone call with his French counterpart, said that the Kyiv regime does nothing without the approval of its Western supporters, and we hope that French special services were not involved in the attack on the music hall.
