Mahmoud Nabavian: Iran's Cooperation with the Atomic Energy Agency Has Completely Stopped

Mahmoud Nabavian: Iran’s cooperation with the Atomic Energy Agency has been completely halted.

Mahmoud Nabavian, Vice Chairman of the National Security Commission of the Parliament, announced that after the activation of the snapback mechanism, the cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Iran with the International Atomic Energy Agency has been completely stopped.

He said that currently, our cooperation with the Atomic Energy Agency is zero and suspended, and the agency’s inspectors are not present in Iran.

Nabavian added that the resumption of cooperation depends on ensuring the security of nuclear facilities and Iranian scientists, non-violation of the country’s territory, and the recognition of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s right to enrich uranium according to Article Four of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
