Mahmoud Vaezi: The Parliament should not have a strict view towards the Cabinet

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Moderation and Development Party, referring to the necessity of cooperating with the government for the quicker formation of the fourteenth government’s cabinet, stated that the elected President has considered the necessary considerations so that candidates are introduced to the Islamic Consultative Assembly without issues in gaining a vote of confidence.

He expressed that the President has effectively implemented the necessary consultations. It has even been heard that in the process of determining the cabinet members, there have been collaborations with the heads of the other two branches. Dr. Pezeshkian has taken all necessary considerations into account and introduced a cabinet in which different parties and movements have roles, which is a reflection of pluralism and diversity.

Vaezi emphasized that he has tried to use different perspectives within the government in accordance with his election slogans. Reformists, moderates, and moderate conservatives are all present. Therefore, it is essential that the President’s major programs and policies are accepted by all cabinet members, and the proposed ministers should align their programs, goals, and approaches accordingly.
