Mahsa Amini's Family Objects to the Forensic Commission's Report

The family of Mahsa Amini objected to the report by the Legal Medical Commission.

Saleh Nikbakht, the lawyer for Mahsa Amini’s family, stated in an exclusive interview with the Etemad newspaper.

In our petition addressed to the special homicide investigator of the Tehran Criminal Prosecutor’s Office, we have objected to the report by the Legal Medical Commission, stating that the cause of Mahsa’s death has not been clearly determined in this report. We have requested that the case be referred to another panel of legal medical doctors for a re-examination of the cause of death. We also requested that the investigation be conducted by inviting 5 out of 10 brain and neurology specialists, along with a cardiologist and a psychiatrist, nominated by the family and selected by the investigator.
