Mahsa Amini's Family Protests Against the Forensic Medical Commission's Report

The family of Mahsa Amini objected to the report of the Legal Medicine Commission.

Saleh Nikbakht, the lawyer for Mahsa Amini’s family, stated in an exclusive interview with the Etemad newspaper.

In our petition addressed to the special murder investigator of the Tehran Criminal Court, we have objected to the Legal Medicine Commission’s report, stating that the cause of Mahsa’s death has not been clearly clarified. We have requested that the case be referred to another panel of legal medicine doctors for a re-examination of the cause of death, and that 5 out of 10 specialist doctors in brain surgery and neurology, along with a cardiologist and a psychiatrist introduced by the family and selected by the investigator, be invited to address the matter.
