The Malavan player was put under judicial prosecution following the release of his wedding video.
Following the release of a video featuring Saeed Karimi, the 28-year-old player of Malavan Bandar Anzali team, and his wife without mandatory hijab at their formal wedding ceremony, the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office of Anzali has filed a legal case against him.
In part of this video, Saeed Karimi’s wife is seen without the mandatory hijab and wearing the Malavan team’s jersey at the Sirus Ghayeghran Stadium, a scene that faced harsh reactions from government media and some state TV presenters.
They called the release of this video a promotion of indecency and demanded immediate action against this player.
