Manoto TV Network Announcement: Our network’s activities may soon be halted

Manoto TV announced the potential end of its activities in a statement published on its Instagram page

In part of this announcement, the network’s officials mentioned financial issues, stating that over the years, they have tried various ideas to generate income, but unfortunately, none have been successful so far

The announcement stated that the network’s independent policy and adherence to their principles have been a red line, and options to overcome today’s challenges have been proposed, which require crossing this line, but they have refused to do so

The announcement, signed by Kewan and Marjan Abbasi, the owners of the TV station, concluded by saying this is not our farewell message. If we are forced to end our operations, it will not happen before the last day of January next year

This Persian-language TV station, with its headquarters in London, has been operating for the past fourteen years. Its online broadcast began in 2007, and its satellite broadcast started in 2010
