Molavi Abdolhamid: Many believe that the poisonings are a form of protest suppression

Molavi Abdolhamid Ismaeelzahi, the Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan, referred to the issue of poisonings in Iranian schools, especially girls’ schools, in today’s Friday prayer and said that many believe this is also a form of protest suppression and that the same girls who protested in their schools are now being treated this way.

The Sunni Friday prayer leader of Zahedan added that those who are aware and do not stop this trend are not worthy of our country and emphasized that this trend must end in any case.

He said that this issue, which has targeted girls and caused widespread distress among the entire nation, is a very serious matter.

He mentioned that it started three months ago in Qom and has spread to many cities, mainly targeting girls.

Mr. Ismaeelzahi expressed astonishment that this trend has not been identified and said who would believe that the security and military officials are unaware. Trivial matters are quickly identified, but a trend of this magnitude is not.

He emphasized that no one is convinced.
