Martial Law at Sharif University

The board of directors at Sharif University of Technology has established new regulations regarding the entry and exit times of students at the university.

According to the decision of the board, undergraduate students are allowed to enter the university until 6 PM.

Entry to the university after 6 PM requires authorization from the Vice Chancellor for Education and Graduate Studies.

This decision will be implemented from Saturday, December 31, until the end of the current year, which is Monday, March 20, 2023.

Previously, there were also restrictions imposed on students entering universities.

Among these was the prohibition of entry for protesting students based on clause 2 of article 7 of the disciplinary regulations of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, which allows the university president to prevent a student from entering the university until their case is reviewed by the disciplinary committee.
