Martial Law at Sharif University

The board of directors of Sharif University of Technology has established new regulations regarding the entry and exit times of students at the university.

According to the decision of the board, undergraduate students are allowed to enter the university until 6 PM.

Entry to the university after 6 PM requires a permit from the Vice President for Education and Graduate Studies.

This decision will be implemented from Saturday, December 31st, until the end of the current year, which is Monday, March 20th, 2023.

Previously, there were also restrictions applied regarding students’ entry to universities.

Among these is the prohibition of entry for protesting students based on Note 2 of Article 7 of the Disciplinary Regulations for Students by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, allowing the university president to prevent a student’s entry until their case is reviewed by the disciplinary committee.
