Masoud Pezeshkian says the cabinet list will be introduced after coordination and consultation with the leadership.
Masoud Pezeshkian states that after reviewing the proposals from various political groups to form his government, he will present his cabinet list to the leader of the Islamic Republic for coordination and consultation before introducing it to the parliament.
The president-elect of Iran, who has not yet held a press conference with journalists, conducted his first press interview with the website of Ali Khamenei’s office, which was published on Friday, July 27.
In recent years, various accounts have been published stating that appointing ministers for ministries like Foreign Affairs, Intelligence, and Culture and Islamic Guidance is not possible without the personal approval of the leader of the Islamic Republic.
However, Masoud Pezeshkian has said that after finalizing the cabinet list with his advisors, they will go to the leader of the Islamic Republic in the final stage, and with coordination and consultation with him, they will reach a final conclusion so that the cabinet members can be introduced.
