Masoud Pezeshkian says the government has not fulfilled any of its promises.
Masoud Pezeshkian, the representative of the people of Tabriz in the parliament, believes that the current trend does not align with the slogans that were given. Since the government promised to solve housing and employment issues, pay attention to people’s livelihoods, and fight corruption and economic misconduct, people see their shrinking tables, employment, and housing situation, and realize that the government has not fulfilled any of its promises, so it is natural for them to be dissatisfied.
In an interview with the Shargh newspaper, he continued: When we choose a team that has neither knowledge, expertise, nor experience, even if we make the right decision, that non-committed, non-expert team will not execute the correct decision, similar to the development plans we write, but the government pays no attention to those plans.
The representative of the people of Tabriz in the eleventh parliament and elected for the twelfth parliament stated, for instance, it is said that the government has implemented 20% of the sixth five-year development plan by the end of the term, whereas if it does not engage with the development plan at all and leaves it alone, at least 25% of the plan would be implemented by itself, and there is no need for the government to implement 20% of it.
