Matin Hasani, who was injured in the eye during the November 2019 protests, has reported being summoned for the execution of his prison sentence.
In a post on his Instagram account, he shared an image of his summons for the execution of the sentence and wrote that after all the follow-ups that were done for me, I finally have to turn myself in after these few days that have been set for me, with the condition I have, an eye that needs to be treated and cared for to prevent infection, being confined in one place is difficult, but we are stronger than they think.
He had previously stated that he was arrested on the third of Bahman (January 23) for participating in the Women, Life, Freedom protests and was released after a month in prison on a bail of one billion tomans so that the legal proceedings of his court case could take place.
The Revolutionary Court of Bukan tried Mr. Hasani on charges of propaganda against the regime and inciting people to war and massacre against each other, and sentenced him to 31 months of imprisonment, including 26 months suspended and six months to be served.
