Mawlana Gorgij During Eid al-Fitr Prayer: You Made Us Dislike the Chador and Scarf

Mawlana Gorgij during the Eid al-Fitr prayer said, ‘You have made us hate the chador and scarf.’

Mawlana Gorgij, during the Eid al-Fitr prayer sermon in Galikesh, Golestan Province, criticized the Iranian government. He said Reza Shah couldn’t forcibly remove the chador from Iranian women’s heads, but you have oppressed so much that we have come to hate the chador and scarf.

Mawlana Gorgij, referring to the poisonings in schools, criticized the situation and asked where this poison has come from.

Mr. Gorgij spoke about the difficult economic situation of porters in Kurdistan and fuel carriers in Baluchistan, saying it is the government’s duty to take care of them, but instead, they are being shot at. They carry heavy loads with hardship, and no one has the right to shoot at them. They are the breadwinners of their families.
