Mawlavi Abdulhamid Emphasized the Majority's Opinion

Mawlavi Abdul Hamid emphasized the opinion of the majority of the people

While the leader of the Islamic Republic and other government officials have opposed holding a referendum, Mawlavi Abdul Hamid in his latest statements once again called for the Islamic Republic to submit to the opinion of the majority of the Iranian people.

Mr. Abdul Hamid, on Friday, April 21st, in his Eid al-Fitr prayer sermon, said that he emphasizes territorial integrity and national security, but protests and speaking out are the people’s rights and must be acknowledged.

He did not directly mention a referendum, but he has previously repeatedly called for a referendum in Iran to determine a new political system.
