Mazaher Heydari Darvish Gonabadi Released

Mazaher Heydari Darvishi was released

Darvishi Ganabadi, also known as the protesting shepherd, was released from the prison in Kurd city yesterday.

He had previously stated that he was violently arrested by security forces in Chabahar city on January 4th.

A month ago, an audio file of him was released, in which he talked about the 3 minutes of forced confessions and the manner of his arrest during the trial.

He is one of the Ganabadi dervishes who was also arrested during the events of the seventh Golestan. Mr. Heydari spent one year in prison and even after his release, he was subjected to harassment by security forces.
