Mazaher Heidari, a Gonabadi Dervish, was released

The Gonabadi Dervish, known as the protesting shepherd, was released from the Shahr-e Kord prison yesterday

He had said that he was violently arrested by security forces on January 4th in Chabahar

A month ago, an audio file of him was released in which he talked about a 3-minute court session, torture, forced confessions, and his manner of arrest

He is one of the Gonabadi Dervishes who was also arrested during the events of Golestan Haftom. Mr. Heidari was in prison for a year but was harassed by security forces even after his release
