Mazandaran Weather Forecast: Caspian Sea to Become Stormy, Marine Activities Prohibited

Mazandaran Meteorology: The Caspian Sea will become stormy; marine activities are prohibited.

Mazandaran Meteorology, by issuing an orange-level warning, announced that from late Wednesday until next Saturday, all marine activities in the coastal waters of the province are prohibited.

The strengthening of northern currents will cause strong winds with speeds up to 18 meters per second and create high waves between 24 to 38 meters in the Caspian Sea.

These conditions are very unsafe for swimming, fishing, marine tourism, and maritime transport, and there is a risk of swimmers drowning and vessels being damaged.
