Medvedev Calls for Missile Deployment 100 Miles from America

Medvedev called for the deployment of missiles 100 miles from America

According to the Business Insider newspaper, Medvedev, who is now the deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, reacted to a video from the US Embassy in which it is said in Russian that Russian citizens do not deserve President Vladimir Putin’s attack on Ukraine. He said the main New Year’s gift is Zircon missiles, which we have sent to the shores of NATO countries.

He later called for the deployment of missiles 100 miles from America and near the Potomac River.

Hypersonic missiles are extremely fast and can travel distances at unexpected speeds, making it difficult for old air defense systems to intercept them. The range of Zircon missiles is 310 to 620 miles.

On Wednesday, Russia announced that it was sending its warship Admiral Gorshkov, equipped with Zircon hypersonic cruise missiles, on a long journey that will pass through the Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea.
