Field Marshal Asim Munir, the commander of the Pakistan Army, continued his visit to Tehran today by meeting and discussing with Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran.

This meeting took place within the framework of Pakistan’s intensive consultations regarding recent regional developments and Islamabad’s efforts to mediate between Iran and the USA. Asim Munir had previously met with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Parliament.
