The foreign ministers of Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Turkey met in the capital of Pakistan to discuss the developments of the war in the Middle East.

Badr Abdel-Aty and Hakan Fidan arrived in Islamabad on Saturday night, and Faisal bin Farhan joined them on Sunday.

According to the French news agency, extensive security measures were in place in the government area of Islamabad, and the routes leading to it were blocked.

A Pakistani source said that Iran, the United States, and Israel did not have representatives at this meeting.

Before this meeting, the Pakistani foreign minister held bilateral meetings with his counterparts, and some of these officials also met with the commander of the Pakistani army.

In recent weeks, Pakistan has played a mediating role between Iran and the United States and has participated in the exchange of messages between the two parties.
