Meeting of the Taliban Deputy Prime Minister with Iran’s Minister of Interior

Abdul Kabir, the Taliban Deputy Prime Minister, met with Ahmad Vahidi, Iran’s Minister of Interior, in Tehran today to discuss cooperation on Afghan refugees in Iran, drug issues, and border management.

In a statement from the presidential palace, Mr. Abdul Kabir said that the cultivation and trade of drugs have approached zero. This is not only beneficial for Afghans but also for the entire region and the world.

He participated in the inauguration ceremony of Iran’s President in the Islamic Consultative Assembly today.

Last night, in a meeting with several Afghan traders, Mr. Abdul Kabir said that they have established good interactions and relations with neighbors, which has led to the development of trade and commerce.
