The Mega Debtor Hidden Under the Cloak of the First Deputy of the Judiciary

The mega debtor hidden under the cloak of the First Deputy of the Judiciary, according to Iran Gate, reported the arrest of Mohammad Sadegh Mosadegh and Amir Hossein Mosadegh, sons of Mohammad Mosadegh, the First Deputy of the Judiciary, on charges of influence peddling and security issues. Iran Gate was the first media outlet to publish this news some time ago. Many names appear in this case, one of them being Mohammad Rostami Safa, one of the largest mega banking debtors. More than fifty corruption cases of Rostami Safa were closed with the intervention of Mohammad Mosadegh’s sons and Abolfazl Ziaei, a former judiciary official who was representing Rostami Safa.

Individuals or organizations unwilling to comply were framed by Ziaei’s influence network within the judiciary’s protection, forcing them to cooperate in the case. Documents obtained by Iran Gate include all of Rostami Safa’s cases that were declared closed by his fixers, and several major cases are still ongoing.

Rostami Safa had taken nearly 9 trillion tomans out of Iran, and after his arrest, he was forced to return 5 trillion of that money. Part of this money was used to purchase a hotel in Switzerland valued at 800 million euros, and we will soon publish the documents of that hotel and other evidence.

The relationship between major economic corrupters and the powers that be has turned into a notorious norm for the entirely rent-seeking economy of the Islamic Republic, from which white-collar offspring emerge under the protection of their boot-wearing, star-bearing fathers or cleric sons who, under the cloaks of their turbaned fathers, are not afraid of any corruption.
