Mehdi Bagheri, a member of parliament and a supervising member of the committee for determining examples of criminal content, intended for Instagram and WhatsApp administrators in the country to create insecurity and murder.
Mehdi Bagheri, a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly and a supervising member of the committee for determining examples of criminal online content, said in an interview with ISNA that the intention of Instagram and WhatsApp administrators was to incite unrest, insecurity, and chaos leading to violence and murder in the country.
He added that the restrictions on Instagram and WhatsApp will continue.
He stated that people do not have restrictions on using the internet, but there are restrictions applied to Instagram and WhatsApp, which are American-owned, and this is natural.
Mehdi Bagheri told ISNA news agency that as an Iranian citizen, he believes if these two applications have been reprimanded and want to operate legally in our country, they must first pay all damages.
