Mehdi Taj has decided that if ethnic slogans are chanted in a stadium, the referee should suspend the match.

Mehdi Taj, the head of the Football Federation, announced after a meeting between the managers of four Premier League clubs and the Ministry of Sports and Youth that it has been decided if ethnic or subversive slogans are chanted in stadiums, the referee should first stop the match, and if the slogans continue, the game should be called off.

According to Taj, this decision will be implemented as a directive for all clubs, and rules that were previously not enforced by the Disciplinary Committee will be reinstated. He emphasized that penalties and disciplinary actions should be uniform for all clubs.

The head of the Football Federation also stated that referees are obliged to penalize protests deserving of a red card without leniency. He considered writing statements and directing fans as inappropriate and stressed that behaviors and actions should be consistent and uniform so that spectators can enjoy the league.
