Member of Iran Boxing Federation's Board of Directors Killed by Two Women

A member of the board of directors of Iran’s Boxing Federation was killed by two women.

Iranian media reported the death of Isa Golmohammadi, a champion and former head coach of Iran’s national boxing team, on Tuesday night at his private garden in the suburbs of Robat Karim.

According to Mehr News Agency, Mr. Golmohammadi was murdered as a result of knife wounds and several gunshots.

Mohammad Reza Golmohammadi, the son of Isa Golmohammadi, confirmed the news in an interview with Tasnim News Agency, saying that his father was killed by 11 gunshots and five knife stabs, and various aspects of the murder are being investigated by detectives.

The police commander of Robat Karim County, quoting the garden’s guard, announced that he was killed by two women and added that the two women, along with the victim, who was a former athlete and coach of the national team, came to the private garden. The guard, during interrogation, mentioned hearing gunshots and upon entering the garden, saw the two women shooting the victim with a firearm and taking the victim’s phone with them. The murderers fled after killing the boxer and coach.
